About Bee Creek and Spencer Starnes

Bee Creek Sutdio, founded by Spencer Starnes in 1982, is a completely professional recording environment with a beautiful main room that can comfortably accommodate up to ten musicians including four isolation rooms, a grand piano and a wide range of mics and pro gear to ensure the best results possible for your recording project. Located in the Texas Hill Country, Bee Creek Studio is an inspiring location in which you can focus creativity and energy into your project.

Spencer Starnes

Spencer Starnes is an experienced bassist, engineer and producer with three Grammys to his name; one for his musicianship as bass player in the song "Hightower" by Asleep at The Wheel, another for his engineering expertise in the song "String of Pars" by Asleep at the Wheel, and finally one more for his talent as an engineer in the song "Slippin' In" by Buddy Guy. Throughout his career Spencer has worked with numerous musicians bands and solo acts including: Micheal Martin Murphey, Willie Nelson, Asleep at the Wheel, Ruben Ramos, Charlie Byrd, Joe Ely, Herb Ellis, Brant Vogel, David Leibmann, Pam Tillis and Suzy Bogus.
