Bee Creek Studio offers recording services to satisfy a wide range of clients, from jazz musicians to Texas Country and Rock bands to Radio and TV spots for commercial use. Whatever the project, Spencer Starnes brings his experience as a professional and successful musician and engineer to the table.
Over the years Spencer has worked with several solo artists and bands including: Micheal Martin Murphey, Willie Nelson, Asleep at the Wheel, Ruben Ramos, Charlie Byrd, Joe Ely, Herb Ellis, Brant Vogel, David Leibmann, Pam Tillis, the Randy Rogers Band and Suzy Bogus. Spencer has also been awarded three Grammy's throughout his career as a musician and engineer: one for his musicianship as bass player in the song "Hightower" by Asleep at The Wheel, another for his engineering expertise in the song "String of Pars" by Asleep at the Wheel, and finally one more for his talent as an engineer in the song "Slippin' In" by Buddy Guy.
Bee Creek Studio provides recording opportunities to any and all, regardless of musical style, in a secluded beautiful part of the Texas Hill Country which allows the artist or client to commit themselves entirely to their product. In addition to the beautiful view from the studio and Spencer's experience as both a musician and an engineer Bee Creek Studio can also comfortably accommodate up to ten musicians with four isolation rooms, a large main room, a grand piano and a wide range of mics and pro gear to ensure the best results possible for your recording project.
